This unit was created in 1884 out of the residue of Holmer and Shelwick after transfers to Hereford MB, creating Holmer Within, and to Breinton. The 1891 census lists data for Holmer and Shelwick, but as it also lists data for Holmer Within the data must be for Holmer.
