The note given in the Argyll county report below Table 10 Intercensal Changes of Boundary, 1931 to 1951 states "By Secretary of State's Orders dated 27th October, 1932 and 3rd November, 1932 the number of County Council Electoral Divisions was reduced from 49 to 34 and the number of Districts of County was reduced from 11 to 10."
