NORBURY, a township in Marbury parish, Cheshire; on the Ellesmere canal, 7 miles S W by W of Nantwich. Acres, 1, 533. Real property, £2, 218. Pop., 392. Houses, 84. The manor belongs to the Marquis of Cholmondeley. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
