The location is that of the ruined church of St Andrews, for which the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Scotland gives the alternative name of "Kilmalemnock" (http://canmore.rcahms.gov.uk/en/site/16554/details, accessed 26 Nov 2012). Groome's entry for St Andrews-Lhanbryd mentions "he chapelry of Kilmalemnoc" as forming the western part of that parish.
