MEMBLAND, a hamlet in Holbeton parish, Devon; n ear Bigbury bay, 6 miles SW by W of Modbury. Membland House belonged to the Hillersdons, the Champernownes, and others; and passed to the Rev. Sir P. Perring, Bart.
