HOARCROSS, a township in Yoxhall and Hanbury parishes, Stafford; 4¼ miles SE of Abbots-Bromley. Real property, £2, 170. Pop., 251. Hoarcross Hall was anciently the seat of the Willes family; was rebuilt by Lord Scardale, and occupied by him as a hunting seat; and passed to H. Ingram, Esq.
