TATWORTH, a chapelry in Chard parish, Somerset; 2 miles S of Chard r. station. Post town, Chard. Pop., 925. Parrocks Lodge is the seat of J.Langdon, Esq. There are woollen cloth mills. The living is a p. curacy in the diocese of Bath and Wells. Value, £300. Patron, the Vicar of Chard. The church was built in 1851.
