Place:

Garnedd  Flintshire

In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Garnedd like this:

GARNEDD, a township in Gwaenysgor parish, Flint; 4¼ miles NE of Rhuddlan. Pop., 47.

The location is simply that of the village of Gwaenysgor, as "Garnedd" has not yet been located on a topographic map and was within the parish of Gwaenysgor.
