Broad Hinton  Berkshire

In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Broad Hinton like this:

BROAD-HINTON, a liberty in Hurst parish, Berks; 4 miles N by W of Wokingham. Acres, 1,710. Pop., 531. Houses, 105.

The location is that of Hinton House. Although Broad Hinton is east of Reading, it was in a detached part of the ancient county of Wiltshire, as recorded on the OS First Series map.
