YAPHAM, a township-chapelry in Pocklington parish, E. R. Yorkshire; 2½ miles NW of Pocklington r. station. Post town, Pocklington, under York. Acres, 1,818. Real property, with Meltonby, £2,977. Pop., 169. Houses, 30. The living is annexed to Pocklington. The church is old.
