NORMANBY-ON-THE-WOLDS, a parish in Caistor district, Lincoln; 1¾ mile E N E of Usselby r. station, and 3½ N N E of Market-Rasen. Post-town, Market-Rasen. Acres, 1, 966. Real property, with Claxby, £4, 360. Pop. of N. alone, 138. Houses, 26. The manor belongs to the Earl of Yarborough. The living is a rectory, annexed to the rectory of Claxby, in the diocese of Lincoln. The church is old.
