Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for MERRY MAIDENS

MERRY MAIDENS, a Druidical circle in St. Buryan parish, Cornwall; 4¾ miles SW of Penzance. It once had nineteen stones; it still has sixteen in upright position; and it has twelve of these in the form of a ring 82 feet in diameter.
