Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for PADDINGTON CANAL

PADDINGTON CANAL, a canal in Middlesex; leaving the Grand Junction canal at Bulls-Bridge, near Cranford; going eastward, by Northolt, Twyford, and Kensal-Green, to Paddington; and communicating, through the Regents Canal extension, by the Regents Park, with the Thames. It was formed in 1795-1801; and is 13½ mileslong.
