PEOVER (Superior), a township in Rostherne parish, Cheshire; on the river Peover, 3½ miles S S E of Knutsford. Acres, 2, 929. Real property, £5, 648. Pop., 531. Houses, 98. It contains the post-office and thechurch of Over-Peover; and is itself sometimes called Over-Peover.
