Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for EVENLODE (The)

EVENLODE (The), a river of Worcester, Gloucester, and Oxford. It rises near Four-Shire Stone and near Moreton-in-the-Marsh; and runs south-eastward, about 35 miles, past Kingdam, Ascott, Shorthampton, Charlbury, and Blenheim Park, to a confluence with the Isis, in the vicinity of Ensham and Cassington.
