Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Ashey or Ashie

Ashey or Ashie, a lake in Dores parish, Inverness-shire, 2 miles W of the foot of Loch Ness, and 7½ SSW of Inverness. It is about 2 miles long, by ½ mile broad, supplies Inverness with water, and contains trout running up to 4 lbs. but very shy.
