Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for LLYS-BRADWEN

LLYS-BRADWEN, a place in the SW of Merioneth; 4¼ miles E of Barmouth. Vestiges are here of the residence of Ednywain ab Bradwen, chieftain of one of thd Welsh tribes in the 7th century. The building appears to have been an oblong of about 120 feet.
