Worth, par. and vil., Sussex - par. (containing Crawley Down and part of Copthorne), 13,331 ac., pop. 3571; vil., 6½ miles W. of East Grinstead; has an ancient church, said to be the only perfect ground plan of a Saxon church extant in England; in vicinity is Worth Park, seat.
