Horncliffe, township and vil., Norham par., N. Northumberland, on river Tweed, 4½ miles SW. of Berwick on Tweed, 602 ac., pop. 348; P.O.; the river is crossed by a suspension bridge 368 ft. long, 18 ft. wide, and 27 ft. above the water.
