St Mary Church.-- town and par., Devon, on Babbicombe Bay, 1½ mile N. of Torquay - par., 2589 ac., pop. 5970; town, pop. 5759; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. The town shares in the prosperity of Torquay, of which it is practically a suburb. Marble works and terra-cotta mfr. employ many of the inhabitants.
