Oatlands, eccl. dist., Walton on Thames par., Surrey, 3 miles SE. of Chertsey, pop. 1472; P.O., T.O., called Oatlands Park. Oatlands is the site of a palace built by Henry VIII.; a grotto, formed by the Duke of Newcastle, at a cost of £40,000, is still shown to visitors.
