Ferrybridge, hamlet with ry. sta. (Ferry Bridge Junction), Ferry Frystone par., E. div. West-Riding Yorkshire, 1½ mile NW. of Knottingley sta.; P.O.; was the scene of a skirmish (1461) before the battle of Towton.
