Yspytty Ystrad Meiric, par. and vil., Cardiganshire, 5½ miles N. of Tregaron, 945 ac., pop. 178; P.O., called Ystradmeurig; a hospitium (cell to Strata Florida Abbey) was here, and a castle of time of Henry I.; there is an endowed grammar school.
