Pittodrie, an old mansion in Chapel of Garioch parish, Aberdeenshire, on the north-eastern slope of Bennachie, 1 mile SW of Pitcaple station. Its owner, Hy. Wm. Knight Erskine, Esq. (b. 1858; suc. 1870), holds 3270 acres in the shire, valued at £4250 per annum.Ord. Sur., sh. 76, 1874.
