Newton, an old but commodious mansion, with wellwooded grounds, in Culsalmond parish, Aberdeenshire, 2 ½ miles NE of Insch. Its owner, Alexander Morison Gordon, Esq. (b. 1846; suc. 1868), holds 3369 acres in the shire, valued at £2989 per annum.—Ord. Sur., sh. 86, 1876.
