Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Inchdrynich

Inchdrynich, an estate, with a modern mansion, in Glenorchy and Innishail parish, Argyllshire, on the E shore of Loch Awe, 5 miles SW of Dalmally. The house was leased in 1858 and following years by the celebrated etcher, Mr P. G. Hamerton. Its owner, William Muir, Esq., holds 4250 acres in the shire, valued at £1260 per annum.—Ord.
