A: If you know where you are interested in but not necessarily what it is called, the best way to find it is to select "Historical Maps" from the main menu bar, zoom in using the map window until you can see the location you are interested in clearly, then click the "i" icon below the zoom bar and click once more on your place of interest on the map. You will be taken directly to a page about that location, with links to the administrative units that covered it, and nearby towns and villages.
