Notes:

The 1901 census report (County Report, table 12) describes this as 'the area (containing 4 acres) which was formerly a detached part of Marton Civil Parish being wholly surrounded by Over Civil Parish, became part of that Parish under the provisions of the Divided Parishes Act of 1882; it was not added to Winsford Urban District, and therfore became a separate Parish under the provisions of Local Government Act, 1894.' The 1901 census combines this area with another similar area detached from Over, which Youngs lists as a separate unnamed parish also within Northwich Registration District, but that contained only 0.486 acres and together they contained no houses or population.
