COCKLE-PARK, a township in Hebburn parochial chapelry, Northumberland; 3 miles N of Morpeth. Acres, 1, 335. Pop., 42. Houses, 7. Cockle Park Tower was anciently a stronghold of the Bertrams, and is machicolated.
