BARNBY-IN-THE-WILLOWS, a parish in Newark district, Notts; on the river Fesdick, 2½ miles N by E of Claypole r. station, and 4¼ E by S of Newark. Post Town, Claypole, under Newark. Acres, 1,703. Real property, £2,736. Pop., 302. Houses, 64. The property is divided among a few. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lincoln. Value, £184. Patron, Southwell Collegiate Church. The church is good; and there is a Wesleyan chapel.
