Descriptive gazetteer entries

In 1887, John Bartholomew's Gazetteer of the British Isles described Calton Hill like this:

Calton Hill, in city of Edinburgh, alt. 355 ft.; with its public buildings and monuments, it forms one of the most striking features of Edinburgh, and commands an extensive and varied view.
