Real property, with Wilbrighton, £4,229. The chapelry was constituted in 1845; and its Post town is Newport, Salop. Pop.,.679. Houses, 152. The property is divided among a few. The living is a p. curacy in the diocese of Lichfield. Value, £45.* Patron, the Incumbent of Gnosall. The church is modern.
