RHYDYCROESAN, a chapelry in Llansilin, Llany-bodwell, Oswestry, and Selattyn parishes, Salop; on Offa's dyke, contiguous to Wales, 3½ miles W by N of Oswestry r. station. It was constituted in 1844; and it has a post-office under Oswestry. Pop., 328. Houses, 75. The property is divided among a few. The living is a p. curacy in the diocese of St. Asaph. Value, £100. Patron, the Bishop of St. Asaph. The church is good.
