Place:

Daudy  Glamorgan

The name "Daudy" comes from a Civil Parish created out of the rural part of Newcastle Lower CP in 1894, and divided between Laleston and Bridgend in 1905; it had a population of 28 in 1901. The parish does not appear on any of our boundary maps and the name has not been found on a topographic map. We give it here the location of Bryntirion, which is about halfway between Bridgend and Laleston.
