ROWLSTONE, a parish in the district and county of Hereford; 1½ mile W of Pontrilas r. station, and 2½ S S W of Abbeydore. Post-town, Pontrilas, under Hereford. Acres, 1, 678. Real property, £1, 227. Pop., 145. Houses, 28. The property is subdivided. The living is a p. curacy, united with the p. curacy of Llancillo, in the diocese of Hereford. Value, £200. Patron, Mr. King. The church was restored in 1865.
