RAUCEBY (South), a parish, with a village, in Sleaford district, Lincoln; 3 miles W of Sleaford r. station. Post-town, Sleaford. Acres, 2, 430. Real property, £3, 743. Pop. in 1851, 367; in 1 861, 474. Houses, 94. The increase of pop. arose from improved cottage accommodation. The manor belongs to the Marquis of Bristol. R. Hall is the seat of A. Wilson, Esq. The parish has no church, and is ecclesiastically united with North Rauceby.
