BILSBY, a parish in Spilsby district, Lincoln; adjacent to the East Lincoln railway, 1 mile E of Alford. It includes the hamlets of Asserby and Thurlby; and its Post Town is Alford. Acres, 2,820. Real property, £5,111. Pop., 572. Houses, 122. The property is much subdivided. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lincoln. Value, £123.* Patron, J. Mason, Esq. The church is good. Charities, £7.
