Post-town, Newent, under Gloucester. Acres, 1, 204. Real property, £1, 351. Pop., 202. Houses, 45. The property is divided among a few. The manor belongs to the Dean and Chapter of Gloucester. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol. Value, £332. Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of G. The church is mostly early Norman, and was recently restored. Charities, £5.
