Notes:

  1. These data were input by the Centre for Data Digitisation and Analysis at Queen's University, Belfast.
  2. This table was originally called par_1921 and was a combination of the English and Welsh data. This was amended in May 2015 and is now called par_1921_ew to reflect more accurately the area covered by the content.

Checking:

  1. This dataset has been verified in a number of ways. All numeric fields have been checked by summing the OCR'd data and comparing the sums with sums provided in the original report. Cross check sums were used on all numeric fields except pop_1911 and dwelling.
  2. The geographical units have been cross-checked against the GBHGIS administrative unit gazetteer to ensure that all units are correctly identified. Each unit has a unique unit ID assigned to it and this can be used to cross-reference against other data-sets.
