ARRAN-FOWDDY, Arran-Gessel, and Arran penllyn, three chief summits of the Berwyn mountains, on the mutual boundary of Montgomery and Merioneth. They have altitudes of respectively 2,955, 2,224, and 2,004 feet above the level of the sea. The headstreams of the Dee rise on their NW side. See Bwlch-y-Groes.
