Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Constantine

Constantine, par. and vil., W. Cornwall, near the coast, 5½ miles SW. of Falmouth, 8022 ac. and 474 ac. tidal water and foreshore, pop. 1925; P.O.; has granite quarries and copper and tin mines. At Constantine is the Tolmen, or Cornish Pebble, a huge block of granite, 800 tons in weight.
